SMP Writer's Cut Chapter 11

        On Bowser's flagship....

        Mario had just boarded the ship, only to see dozens of Koopa Troopas patrolling the area. Quickly, before anyone saw him, he ducked behind a wooden box. "Okay, If I were Bowser, where would I hide my prisoners?" he said to himself.

         Suddenly, the box Mario was hiding behind was moved by a rather strong-looking koopa troopa. Seeing Mario, this Koopa then pulled a piece of paper out of his shell, which turned out to be Mario's wanted poster from Bowser's Kingdom.

        "Duh, you look an awful lot like that Mario guy..." the koopa said.

        "Really, I do?" Mario said, seeing that this was not one of Bowser's smarter troops. "I always thought I looked more like Bob Hoskins."

        "No, no, you definitely look a lot like Mario. I mean you've got the nose, the moustache, the hat.... hey wait! You are Mario!" the koopa said, alerting the other troops nearby.

        'Just when I thought this was gonna be easy...' Mario thought.

        One koopa then got on each side of Mario and each grabbed an arm. A hammer brother then came up to him and said "oh, how I've been waiting for the day when I would get my revenge on you for all the things you've done to my people."

        "Well you're gonna have to wait a little LONGER!" Mario said as he kicked the hammer brother in his face, knocking him down. Mario then twisted his body around, making the koopas lose their grip on his arms. Another koopa tried launching himself while inside his shell at Mario, but Mario grabbed it in mid-air and threw it at another group of koopas.

        "Boy, these guys are stupid." Mario said as he jumped on another charging koopa. He then grabbed him and threw him at some more troops.

        "Arrrgh, Gunners, get him!" the hammer brother said to the koopas manning the ship's cannons.

        They attempted to fire on Mario, but he dodged every shot they threw at him. Mario then grabbed one of the knocked-out koopa's shells and threw it into the barrel of one of the cannons, causing it to explode. The other gunners, not wanting to suffer the same fate, just turned tail and ran

        "Looks like they're having a blast." Mario said.

        Meanwhile, in the cave....

        Danny was firing beam after beam of ecto energy at every ghost that passed his way, while Luigi sucked them up into his Poltergust. It seemed like for every one they defeated, three more would show up in its place.

        "Man, how many of these things are there?" Danny said as he punched a charging ghost in his face.

        "I don't know, but keep your guard up!" Luigi said as he sucked up three ghosts at once.

        One tried sneaking up on Luigi, but he instantly turned around and shot a ball of water at it, putting out its fiery heart.

        "Well, that was lucky." he said as he sucked up the weakened ghost.

        King Boo, who was watching the whole thing from a hidden camera, said "Man, these guys are tough! I'm gonna have to send in my secret weapon!"

        King Boo then grabbed a walkie-talkie and said to it "I've got a job for you."

        "Good. Just tell me where to go." said a sinister voice from the walkie-talkie.

        Back on the flagship....

        A large amount of semi-conscious koopas were lying on the ship's deck. Mario then picked up the first hammer brother he knocked out and said "where do you keep the prisoners?"

        "*groan* Lower deck..." the hammer brother said.

        "Thanks." Mario said.

        He then dropped him and and went to the lower decks. There he saw Sam chained to the wall.

        "Mario! I am so glad to see you!" Sam said.

        "Don't worry, I'll have you out of those chains in no time." Mario said.

        He tried holding one of the chains' links to a fireflower's fire, but it had no effect. "Man, what are these chains made of?"

        "Come on Mario!" Sam said, getting impatient. "What about that thing Luigi used to catch that bomb?"

        "Good idea!" Mario said as he handed Sam a mega mushroom.

        "Um, how does this work?" Sam said, looking confusedly at the large mushroom.

        "Just take a bite." Mario said, which Sam did.

        Sam then began to feel strange all over her body, and then she began to grow. Soon, the chains around her arms broke, and she was free. Her head then hit the ceiling, and still her body was growing. Eventually, she grew too big and her head broke through the ceiling.

        "I'm guessing you're not supposed to use this power-up indoors." Sam said to Mario in the deck below.

        "Yep. Now let's go meet up with Danny." Mario called up. Sam then picked up Mario and brought him up to the top deck.

        Kamek then flew over, and saw Sam's giant head sticking out of the deck's floor. "Emergency! Someone gave the prisoner a mega-mushroom! All troops get over here!" Kamek said, panicing.

        "Don't bother Kamek, I already took care of all of your troops." Mario said, pointing behind Kamek. Kamek turned around to see dozens of half-conscious koopas littering the decks.

        "Oh... I'll just stop you myself then!" Kamek said as he flew at Mario. His attack was stopped, however,by Sam's giant fist slamming him in the back of his head, knocking him out.

        "Nice job Sam!" Mario said.

        "Thanks. Now can you help me get back to my normal size?" Sam said.

        Back in the cave....

        Danny and Luigi had finally defeated all of King Boo's troops. The two were sitting in one spot, resting from their long and tiring battle.

        "Boy, those guys were tough! But at least it's all over now." Danny said.

        "Oh, it is far from over, ghost child." Said a sinister voice from the shadows.

        From out of the shadows came a metal clad, skull-faced ghost with a mowhawk made of green fire. This was Skulker, the self-proclaimed greatest hunter in the ghost zone back in Danny's world.

        "Skulker!? What are you doing here!?" Danny said.

        "If you must know, I, along with those other ghosts, was hired by Bowser to recover the Yang talisman." Skulker said, holding up a white stone which looked like the other half of a yin-yang.

        "Bowser hired you?" Danny said. "Does he have a ghost portal?"

        "Better than that, it's a machine capable of opening doors to any world in this universe or any other." Skulker said. "He calls it a 'Warp-Zone Generator.'"

        "Warp-zone generator?" Luigi said. "What does he plan to do with something like that?"

        "If you only knew." Skulker said.

        "Talk Skulker, or else!" Danny said.

        "Ah, there's that killer instinct. The hunt is on!" Skulker said, rushing at Danny and Luigi....
