Super Mario Phantom Chapter 5

        "Here we are, Bowser's Castle." Mario said to the group, as they were standing in front of a large castle surrounded by a moat of molten lava. Mario then pulled a leaf out of his pocket, ate it, and grew the ears and tail of a racoon.

        "Um, how is becoming a squirrel supposed to help anything?" Sam asked.

        "First of all, I'm a racoon, not a squirrel, second of all, this form gives me the ability to fly." Mario said.

        "Do racoons fly in this world?" Danny asked.

        "You know, sometimes it's just better not to overthink these things." Mario said as he was flying over the moat carrying Luigi. Danny then picked up Sam and began following the Mario Brothers.

        While all this was happening, a pair of cold eyes was watching them via a crystal ball...

A few minutes later, on the roof of Bowser's Castle....

        "Hurry up with loading my airships! We're already an hour behind schedule!" Bowser yelled to his troops as they were loading up his airships with supplies.

        "Whatever you're up to, you won't get away with it! My brother will beat you!" Jazz said from inside her orb, which was in Bowser's hand along with the other orb.

        "Hahaha! Not likely! With what I have planned, even the Mario Brothers will be helpless before me!" Bowser said.

        "Sire! Sire! We have intruders in the castle!" Kamek said as he was running into Bowser's leg. "It's the Mario Brothers, and they have teamed up with a couple individuals from the real world!"

        "Mario!" Peach said from inside her orb.

        "What!? I can't be bothered by those nitwits now! Kamek, see if you can cause some kind of distraction for them." Bowser said.

        "Yes sir." Kamek said as he was boarding his flying broom.

        " So when are we gonna get to his throne room?" Danny said impatiently.

        "Soon, Danny. Bowser's castle has gotten destroyed a few times, so its sometimes hard for me to get used to his new place." Mario said.

        Just then a blast of magic flew by, missing the group by an inch!

        "Alright, who did that!?" Danny yelled out.

        "I did," Kamek said from higher up on his broom, "and my king has ordered me to stop you four from interfering with his ultimate plan."

        "Kamek...." Mario said, having some bad childhood memories of the old koopa wizard. "Just what is bowser planning?"

        "Wouldn't you like to know?" Kamek said, mocking the group.

        Danny then flew up to Kamek and said "Talk, or you're in for a world of pain."

        "Ah, you must be the ghost the king told us about." Kamek said.

        "Yeah, so?"

        "So I've got the perfect spell for you! Phantolilakuao!" Kamek said as he hit Danny with a spell that binded his arms and legs with ecto-energy and shorted out his powers, turning him back into his human form.

        "Danny!" Sam yelled, looking worried. "I need to stop him, but how?"

        "Here, use this!" Mario said as he handed Sam a fire flower. Sam quickly ate it, and began to feel her body change.

        "It's hot....burning....HOT!" Sam yelled as a fireball flew out of her hand and hit Kamek's face, making him drop his wand and fall off his broom. "Wow, cool."

        When the wand hit the ground it broke, causing all the spells it previously conjured to disappear, releasing Danny. "NO! My wand! You'll pay for this!" Kamek said as he got back on his broom and was flying out the window.

        "Oh no you don't!" Danny yelled as he changed into his ghost form and flew after Kamek.

        Outside, the airships were already in flight, and Kamek was racing towards the flagship of the fleet. "I'm coming, King Bowser! I'm Coming!" Kamek said, flying as fast as he could.

        Danny then saw where Kamek was flying to, so he followed him there.

        "Ah, you must be the ghost I've heard so much about." Danny heard a low, growling voice say.

        "Are you...Bowser?" Danny asked.

        "That's king bowser to you, kid! and once my plan is complete, I will be known as 'Emperor Bowser!'" Bowser said.

        "Danny!" Jazz yelled from her orb, which was now on a table.

        "Don't worry Jazz, I'll have you out of there soon!" Danny said to his imprisoned sister.

        "Oh no you don't!" Bowser said as he swiped his claw at Danny's face. Bowser then spit a large fireball at Danny, which burned him badly and knocked him to the floor. Danny tried getting up, but Bowser just kicked him into one of the ship's cannons.

        "I...will...stop...you..." Danny said weakly, barely able to stand up.

        "Don't even try, you can't beat me! And once my plan goes through, no one else can either!" Bowser said. Bowser then picked Danny up and threw him overboard. "Bon voyage, kid!"

        "No....Jazz...." Danny said as he was falling to the ground below.....
