Super Mario Phantom Chapter 8

        On the flagship of Bowser's air fleet....

        "Where is Sledge? He should have been back with that talisman by now!" Bowser said, pacing around his quarters impatiently.

        "Maybe my brother beat him and stole it from him." Jazz said from inside her orb, which was on Bowser's desk.

        "Yeah sure, and I'm Butch Hartman." Bowser said sarcastically.

        "Sire!" Kamek said as he ran into Bowser's room frantically. "Sledge was just beaten, and he lost the talisman!"

        "WHAT!? How could he have lost!? I trained him myself in the art of hammers and boomerangs! I even gave him fire breath for pete's sake!" Bowser said.

        "That's not all sire." Kamek said. "Apparently the ghost child is still alive."

        "Yes!" Jazz said quietly to herself.

        "What!? I thought I threw him overboard!" Bowser said. "Well, I better not take any chances with the Yang talisman. I'm gonna send the ghost platoon to get it."

        "What about the Yin talisman?" Kamek asked.

        "Don't worry, I've got an idea...." Bowser said.

        At Gadd's laboratory....

        "So are they gonna be all right doc?" Danny asked to Gadd.

        "Don't worry, Sam and Luigi should be waking up any minute now." Gadd said.

        Just then Sam woke up. "Oh man, I feel like I just got hit by a truck." she said.

        "Or a super strong turtle shell." Danny said. "Are you all right? Can you stand up?"

        "I'm fine, just a little dizzy." Sam said. "So what happened with that joker?"

        "Me and Mario beat him, and now Mario's interrogating him about that magic stone he dropped." Danny said.

        Mario then walked into the room. "Hey guys! I just learned something interesting about this rock!" He said. Just then Luigi woke up. "Hey, pefect timing!"

        "I get knocked out and that's the first thing you say to me when I wake up?" Luigi said. "Don't you want to even know if I can stand up or not?"

        "Don't be such a drama queen, Luigi." Sam said. "So what did you learn?"

        "Aparently this stone is a key component in a magic spell that is supposed to make someone super powerful." Mario said. "That's all he knew though."

        "So how did you get him to talk?" Danny asked.

        "Well, he's very ticklish under that shell of his." Mario said.

        Just then one of Gadd's computers started ringing. "Oh, it appears I have a call." Gadd said as he was answering it.

        Bowser's face then appeared on the monitor. "Hello, old man. Is Mario there?" He said.

        "Right here. What do you want?" Mario said.

        "I want the Yin talisman you got from Sledge." Bowser said. "Give it to me or else."

        "Or else what?" Danny said.

        "Or else this entire village becomes a smoking crater!" Bowser said as he showed a village populated by penguins with a giant Bob-omb in its center. "I'll be at Iced Land's capital village waiting for you. It's your choice. Give me the talisman, or have an innocent village's destruction on your hands." Bowser then hung up.

        "*sigh* I guess we have no choice." Danny said.

        "Oh yes we do!" Gadd said as an idea just popped into his head. He then whispered it in Mario's ear.

        "You think that will work?" Mario said.

        "I'm sure it will!" Gadd said, obviously proud of his plan. "Now everybody, I need you to...." and then he continued whispering his plan to the heroes and heroine.....
