Super Mario Phantom Prolouge

        Far beyond the world we know lies the mystical Mushroom Kingdom, a world of magic and wonder. The population of this world consists of mushroom-like creatures called toads, turtle-like creatures called koopas, and many, many other races all living in harmony with one another. In the center of this kingdom lies a magnificent castle where the kingdom's ruler, Princess Peach Toadstool, watches over her people.

        Down the road from the castle, we can see a simple house belonging to a pair of plumber brothers. These are no ordinary plumbers, however. These two are known throughout the kingdom as the Super Mario Brothers, due to their frequent savings of the kingdom from the forces of evil. Mario, a man of great courage and determination, and his twin brother Luigi, who though shy was always willing to rise to a challenge.

        Far from this mystical kingdom is another kingdom. Unlike the Mushroom Kingdom, however, this kingdom is a land of fire and brimstone. Also unlike the Mushroom Kingdom with its kind and peaceful ruler, this land had an evil and tyrannical ruler named King Bowser Koopa. Bowser believes that he is destined to rule not only his kingdom, but also the Mushroom Kingdom as well. However, he has never succeeded with his twisted goal because the Super Mario Brothers have always been there to stop him.

        And now we look at one of the few actual buildings in Bowser's kingdom, the Koopa Library. In this place, one can find many, many different kinds of books in many different sections, which include but are not limited to Science Fiction, Research Journals, and World Legends. In the World Legends section, we can often find Bowser doing research for his next plot to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. It is in this section of the library where our story begins...

        "Center of the Universe, no....Star Rod, no....Thousand Year Door....aw, come on! there must be something here that I haven't tried yet!" said the evil king Bowser while looking through the shelves of the World Legends section of the library.

        "What about that one?" said one of Bowser's Koopatrols while pointing to a book with a yin-yang symbol on the cover.

        Bowser then picked up the book and began to look through it. "It's evil....it's horrible....IT'S PERFECT!" Bowser said after he finished looking through the book.

        If one were to look through this book, the first page would say "On the midnight that begins this century's yin-yang year, if one has two pure hearted women under the light of the moon, that one will gain ultimate power and will be unstoppable." The rest of the book would go on about the origin of the yin-yang year, those who have tried to use its power, where one has to go to make this magic spell happen, and many other relating topics.

        "Koopatrol #82, mark January 1st, 1X69 as the day that I become ruler of all living things on this planet! With this kind of power, not even the Mario Brothers will be able to stop me!" Bowser said as he was checking out the book that would cause so much trouble....
