Idiotic Episodes 111 (Remake, Part 2)
DANNY PHANTOM Phantom Planet Last time, on Part 1 of a remake of an older edition of Idiotic Episodes... Vlad Plasmius got really tired of losing all his evil plans to some teenager... ...so he created his own team of ghost fighters to one-up him. It ends up depressing our hero enough to get him to give up his powers... ...which turned out to be really bad timing, because in one week the Earth will be destroyed by a rock as big as Butch Hartman's ego. What happens next? Well, the Fentons build their own rocket with Vlad’s funding (just go with it), and with some drilling missiles straight out of Mega Man X3, Jack and the Masters Blasters are able to destroy the meteor… or rather, A meteor, as the newly-dubbed Disasteroid passes right over them. Pinkie Pie: *plays wah-wah music on trombone* “Vlad: Whoops, looks like I set the wrong coordinates, silly me! You know how bad I can be with computers. Looks like your father has failed once again Daniel. And at a time when

Idiotic Episodes 111 (Remake, Part 1)
DANNY PHANTOM Phantom Planet Hello everyone, and welcome to another remake of an older edition of Idiotic Episodes. So, I am a guy who likes reviewing things, and I’m a big fan of the Nickelodeon series Danny Phantom, so if there’s any episode of this show that’s been hanging over my head since the beginning, it would be the final episode “Phantom Planet.” And it’s one review that I was kind of reluctant to do for the longest time. Well, that must mean it’s one of the worst things ever, right? Well, no. I didn’t want to look this one over because… I actually really love this episode. Pinkie Pie: WHAT!? Yeah, whenever I watch through this series, this episode always makes a great end-cap and just puts me in a good mood. Pinkie Pie: WHAT!? But that doesn’t mean I think it’s perfect. Pinkie Pie: WHA- *Applejack covers her mouth and raises an eyebrow* Yeah, there’s no denying that this episode’s reception was mixed at best, with the loudest voices seeming to coming from
DANNY PHANTOM Mystery Meat Hello everyone, and welcome to another edition of Idiotic Episodes! So wow, we are on the eve of the 20th anniversary of one of my all-time favorite shows, Danny Phantom. I remember the night this premiered, right after Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards. I really enjoyed Butch Hartman's previous show, The Fairly OddParents, so I decided to give this new show a shot. And I've been a fan ever since, hell I think this may be one of the big reasons as to why I'm such a fan of superheroes. (though before this I was also a big fan of the Disney animated series Darkwing Duck, which also could be a contributing factor) It was thanks to this show that I even discovered this very website, finding cool fan art and fan-fiction, which I even contributed some to myself in my early days. Needless to say, this show had a big impact on my life, so it gives me great pleasure to celebrate this milestone. But how shall we celebrate? Well, I think the best way to do so would
THE FAIRLY ODDPARENTS Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour 3: The Jerkinators! Hello everyone, and welcome to the final part of this year's... So last week we saw Jimmy and Timmy fighting to win the love of Cindy Vortex, getting into all sorts of hi-jinks along the way. Meanwhile all sorts of evils plague their efforts, such as Anti-Fairies, Professor Calamitous, and of course their own selfish egos. They eventually learn to get along just long enough to save the universe, and are rewarded with a dance party across both their dimensions. (yeah, these guys were doing the Dance Party ending before it was cool!) As you can tell, most of the admittedly minor complaints I had with part one were actually addressed and worked on in part two. Can they keep this momentum up for the epic conclusion? We'll find out tonight as we blast on into "Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour 3: The Jerkinators!" We cold open on Jimmy making adjustments to his portal thingamabob. "Jimmy: There, my Inter-Dimensional
THE FAIRLY ODDPARENTS Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour 2: When Nerds Collide! Hello everyone, and welcome back to this year's... Last week we took a look at the first "Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour." It was fun to watch, but it had some problems, such as weird pacing, two plots that don't really come together, and the fact that our main characters rarely have any scenes together besides the beginning and end. This would be fine if it was one episode of both shows, much like what the CW's Arrowverse tends to do, but as a movie on its own it just comes off as weird. But that was only the first of three, and I'm sure in sequels we can smooth out any bumps in the road. We'll see if they do that tonight in "Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour 2: When Nerds Collide!" We cold open on Jimmy's world this time, as he gets his friend Carl to walk under a ladder to disprove the notion of bad luck... only for Carl to get electrocuted. "Carl: My skin smells funny... *faints*" How is Carl still alive after all
THE FAIRLY ODDPARENTS The Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour Hey everyone, and welcome to another edition of Idiotic Episodes, and the start of this year's... (yeah, had to make an all-new banner this year. Like it?) I've been doing this little review series for over a decade now, looking over good and bad episodes from many shows, mostly from Nickelodeon as that was my favorite network growing up. And yet for some reason there are two very well-known Nickelodeon cartoons (AKA Nicktoons) that I've yet to do anything on, The Fairly OddParents and The Adventures of Jimmy Neutro: Boy Genius. I've done plenty of reviews for Danny Phantom, spotlighted lesser-known series like Catscratch and The X's, I even did a countdown for the worst episodes of Spongebob Squarepants early on (which I'm pretty sure is WAY out of date now), but for some reason Jimmy and Timmy's stories have yet to be featured here. This is especially weird in Timmy's case, as his show lasted much longer than most others I've
THE LOUD HOUSE Save the Date Hello everyone, and welcome to another edition of Idiotic Episodes. Well, since it seems to be a new tradition for this series to review an episode of The Loud House in February, why not do it again, eh? So back in 2019 I reviewed the episode "Heavy Meddle", where Lincoln has to deal with an off-screen bully while his obnoxious sisters keep intervening against his will. It was not very good, with a ton of padding to fill out the runtime, thus giving me very little to talk about other than its questionable message of "if a girl bullies you, that means she likes you." (I barely even mentioned the admittedly amusing 'Sister-Nado' bit. Seriously, if Lincoln ever comes to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, that should be his Super Attack) The episode ended with Lincoln getting a love letter from the off-screen bully, named Ronnie-Anne, who had previously slapped him for kissing her due to his sisters' influence. And what we're going to be looking at
MY LITTLE PONY, FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC A Trivial Pursuit Happy New Year everypony, and welcome to our first Idiotic Episodes for 2024! Back in 2022 I rewatched everything from My Little Pony's fourth generation, every episode, special, movie, online short, and even whatever the hell Pony Life was, and it really surprised me just how well most of it held up. I still laugh myself silly at Pinkie Pie's antics in "Pinkie Pride", still tear up when Twilight Sparkle gets her wings in "Magical Mystery Cure", and even still groan at the subject of my very first Idiotic Episodes, "Swarm of the Century," despite all the other stuff I've seen and reviewed since then. Needless to say, I still love this show and will continue to review it for as long as my series continues. Where am I going with this? Well, since we looked at the show's very beginning last year, I think it's time we look at something from the show's final season today. So get you brains ready to answer some questions, this is "A
